The Solola Trifold Wallet is a blend of indigenous weaving technique and contemporary color and design concepts. The 100% cotton wallet, adorned with a rectangle of handwoven backstrap loom textile, has an outside zip coin pocket, six slots for credit cards and a long pocket for bills and receipts. The backstrap loom fabric is handwoven by members of the Sololá Weaver’s Group, which is made up of 22 Kakchiquel mayan women who make finely woven backstrap pieces using traditional tie-dye technique called Ikat (or jaspe). . Velcro closure. Folded, the wallet is 3.5 inches by 5 inches.
