To use, place 4-6 berries (hot water wash) or 6-8 berries (cold water wash) into the cotton muslin bag (included). Tie the bag shut and toss the whole thing into the washer. No need to remove for the rinse cycle, these are low sudsing and they'll soften your clothes. For heavily soiled clothes, presoak 8 berries in very hot water and add the sack and tea to the hot water wash cycle, leaving plenty of room for agitation. For brighter whites, add a little oxygen bleach. To scent your laundry add a few drops of your favorite essential oil (such as lavander) to the rinse water. Toss the spent berries onto the compost pile and reuse the cotton sack for the next load. How's that for eco-friendly?
